As part of the endless array of festivities leading up to the 50th
anniversary of the Daytona 500, all former winners were invited
to return and they did so. Winning the Daytona 500 is an enormous
accomplishment for a driver, and each said his Daytona victory may well
have been the biggest accomplishment of their lifetime.
