Today’s Sprint Race at the Istanbul circuit in Turkey did not provide the
result that Javier Villa was looking for. Starting from second place on
the grid the young Spaniard was hoping for a podium finish but a number
of factors beyond Javi’s control saw him finish a very disappointed 15th.
Things began well for Javier as, although he was slow away from the grid,
he was in a promising 3 rd place at the end of the first lap but the
deployment of the Safety Car following a number of spinners saw the field
