SUPERPOLE BUT NOT A SUPER SPA
Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium — 4 May 2008: James Walker’s Spa weekend
got off to a good start when his performance in qualifying on Saturday
morning earned him a slot in the all-new superpole session, guaranteeing
the Briton a top 12 grid spot for Saturday’s race.
He got away well at the start of race one, from 12th position, and
passed a few cars up to the first corner. Unfortunately as James braked
for turn one he had a coming together with Robert Wickens and the damage
