ANOTHER TOP-FIVE RUN AT NHMS? GORDON SECONDS THAT
LOUDON, N.H. (June 24, 2008) - The number of laps in this Sunday’s LENOX
Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) has increased by one
since last year, and Jeff Gordon hopes to do “one” better than his 2007 results at the
1.058-mile oval.
In 2007, both events at NHMS were 300-lap races, and Gordon posted runner-up
finishes in each. Can the four-time NASCAR Cup champion get the extra position with one
additional lap?
