The FIA will review Formula One governance per a decision taken by
the motorsport governing body’s World Motor Sport Council and will
reintroduce a Formula Two championship starting next year.
Meeting Tuesday in Paris, the council determined to consult with F1
teams to examine ways to improve the efficiency of the sport. The FIA
also will review technical regulations and entry fee assessment.
The council decided the team entry fee for F1 next year will be 309,000
euros ($$;478,950), an increase of 3 percent to reflect inflation.
